MetaMask Extension for Chrome | Firefox

MetaMask Extension is a cryptocurrency wallet which can be used on Chrome, Firefox and Brave browsers. It's also a browser extension.

MetaMask is a popular cryptocurrency wallet browser extension that allows users to interact with the Ethereum blockchain. It serves as a wallet for storing Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, as well as a gateway for accessing decentralized applications (DApps) on the Ethereum network.

To install MetaMask:

1. For Chrome:

   • Go to the Chrome Web Store.

   • Search for "MetaMask" in the search bar.

   • Click on the "Add to Chrome" button next to the MetaMask extension.

   • Follow the prompts to install the extension.

   • Once installed, the MetaMask fox icon will appear in the top right corner of your browser.

2. For Firefox:

   • Visit the Firefox Add-ons website.

   • Search for "MetaMask" in the search bar.

   • Click on the "Add to Firefox" button next to the MetaMask extension.

   • Follow the prompts to install the extension.

   • Once installed, the MetaMask fox icon will appear in the top right corner of your browser.

After installing MetaMask, you'll need to set up a wallet by creating a password and securely storing your seed phrase. Once your wallet is set up, you can use MetaMask to send and receive Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, interact with DApps, and manage your decentralized finance (DeFi) activities.
